PetroChina-Rosneft Orient Petrochemical Company Ltd. (Tianjin)

PetroChina-Rosneft Orient Petrochemical Company Ltd. (Tianjin) is a joint venture of PJSC NK Rosneft (49% share) and China National Petroleum Corporation (share - 51%). The project provides for the creation of an oil refining and petrochemical complex in the industrial zone of Nangan in Tianjin, China.

On March 22, 2013, in Moscow, during the first foreign visit of PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the construction and operation of the Tianjin Refinery and Petrochemical Plant and projects in the field of oil exploration and production was signed.

The capacity of the Tianjin Refinery for hydroskimming is 16 million tons per year, and the processing depth is more than 95%. The project also provides for the creation of a retail network.

The parties have completed the development of the feasibility study for the project in the part of the refinery and the aromatic hydrocarbon facility. At present, the terms of raw material supply and project parameters are being specified.

Project for the construction of a refinery and petrochemical complex in Tuban, Indonesia

On November 28, 2017, NK Rosneft and Pertamina completed the creation of the joint venture PT Pertamina Rosneft Pengolahan dan Petrokimia (Rosneft - 45%, Pertamina - 55%) to design and construct a new refining and petrochemical complex in Tuban in the province of East Java in Indonesia with a capacity of primary oil processing of up to 15 million tons per year.

The goal of the project is to produce motor fuels for the markets of the eastern part of Java and Nusa Tenggara region, as well as petrochemical products for the Indonesian market.

Currently, the development of the feasibility study for the project has been completed, the possibilities of project financing have been initially studied.

Investment decision can be made based on the results of basic and extended basic design (BED/FEED).

The launch of the refinery and the petrochemical complex is possible in 2024.
